# Sell Retainers, Lessons, and Programs

> Use Newie for consultant retainers, educator programs, tutor lessons, deposits, and onboarding links.

## Overview

Consulting, tutoring, and education offers can be packaged as calls, retainers, term programs, projects, lessons, or resources. Newie gives each offer a clear payment shape, agreement, and customer record.

## Set Up the Paid Engagement

Create the Newie service for the paid engagement, not for every lesson, call, resource, or internal task behind it. A retainer, tutoring term, workshop, short course, project fee, or assessment can each have its own payment shape and terms.

Keep delivery in the tools you already use for lessons, consulting work, course access, scheduling, files, and student records.

## Common Setup

1. Create Subscriptions for retainers, ongoing support, memberships, or recurring lessons
2. Create Subscriptions with Number of Payments set to a fixed number for term programs, short courses, or structured programs paid over time
3. Create One-Off Purchases for consults, audits, assessments, workshops, deposits, or paid-upfront packages
4. Create Instalment Plans for larger fixed-price programs or project fees paid in scheduled parts
5. Add Terms of Service for engagement terms, cancellation rules, program expectations, or scope boundaries
6. Add a Welcome Email with intake forms, booking links, calendar links, learning portals, client folders, or first-step instructions

## Enquiry to Paid Engagement

## Terms to Make Clear

* Included sessions, lessons, calls, or deliverables
* Whether unused lessons, hours, or access roll over
* Cancellation, rescheduling, and minimum-term rules
* What happens if the customer misses a session or submits work late
* What content, portal, folder, or booking link the customer receives after checkout
