## Platform Basics

Region, currency, platform, and account constraints affect whether a provider can sell through Newie and what setup options appear in the app.

## Supported Regions and Countries

Providers can sign up in the enabled countries below. Settlement/account currency is tied to the provider's Stripe account and payouts.

Services can currently sell in AUD, NZD, USD, EUR, GBP, or CAD. After the default selling currency is set, all services created use this currency. Providers cannot yet change service currency themselves; contact support if you need a support-assisted currency template.

Some provider accounts settle in a currency that is not currently available as a service-selling currency. In that case, services must be created in one of the supported selling currencies, and Stripe handles any currency conversion into the provider's settlement currency.

Newie uses Stripe for payment processing. Providers must be in an enabled country with Stripe support. Customers can generally pay from anywhere by card if their payment method is accepted. For BNPL, use the eligibility, provider status, fee, and price-limit details shown in Newie where BNPL is available. ## Terms of Use

Newie's platform terms of use govern the provider-Newie relationship. Providers can also attach their own Terms of Service to individual services.

## Common Platform, Region, and Currency Questions

    Providers can sign up in the enabled countries listed in Supported Regions and Countries on this page. Customers can generally pay from anywhere by card if their payment method is accepted.

    Providers can use Newie on iPhone and Mac. Tap to Pay runs through the Newie iOS app on a supported iPhone. There is no Android provider app; Android is customer-only. Customers can buy and manage purchases from a web browser.

  <Accordion title="Can I change my region or settlement currency?">
    Region and settlement/account currency are set during Stripe connection and are permanent for that account. If the provider relocates or needs payouts in another country, they usually need a new Newie account.
