Overview

Packages, blocks, and programs can look similar, but the payment shape matters. Start by deciding whether the customer pays once, on a recurring schedule, over a fixed term, or through BNPL.

Choose the Payment Shape

Do Not Overbuild the Service List

Create services for the offers customers buy, not every session or internal milestone. For example, a 12-week program should usually be one service. The workouts, calls, check-ins, files, and booking steps can live in your delivery tools, Welcome Email, booking system, coaching app, or customer messages. Create another Newie service when the customer-facing offer or billing shape is genuinely different.

What to Add Around the Payment

Use Terms of Service where the customer should agree to cancellation rules, minimum terms, payment commitments, refund rules, waivers, or service boundaries before checkout. Use the Welcome Email for the next practical step after purchase, such as booking links, intake forms, onboarding instructions, portal access, community links, or delivery details.
