Overview

In-person services can collect payment before, during, or after the appointment, session, treatment, consult, class, or visit. Newie handles the payment, receipt, customer record, and billing while delivery stays in the provider’s normal booking or front-desk workflow.

How to Take Payment

Use the checkout option that fits the moment:
  • Send a service link before the appointment.
  • Show a QR code at the location.
  • Add selected services or groups to the Store when customers should browse options.
  • Use Tap to Pay on a supported iPhone for in-person contactless payment.
  • Use Purchase as Customer when you are helping the customer through checkout.

Organize the Services

Create groups if you want to organize services by staff member, room, location, category, or service line. Add Welcome Emails when the customer should receive booking instructions, location details, preparation notes, intake forms, or next steps after payment. Last updated: 2026-06-26
