Overview

In-person fitness payments can sit around the booking or class workflow you already use. Newie handles the payment, agreement, receipt, and customer record around the sale.

What Matters at the Point of Sale

Have the payment path ready before the customer is standing at the desk, finishing a consult, or deciding to join. Use Tap to Pay, a QR code, a service link, a custom link, or Purchase as Customer so the sale does not turn into an improvised transfer or follow-up message. Use Newie for the payment and customer record. Keep the session schedule, class attendance, or trainer diary wherever you already manage it.

Common Setup

  1. Create One-Off Purchases for casual sessions, assessments, consults, class packs, session blocks, workshops, deposits, or paid-upfront programs
  2. Create Subscriptions for ongoing memberships, weekly coaching, monthly personal training packages, or recurring class access
  3. Create Subscriptions with Number of Payments set to a fixed number for short challenges or defined in-person programs paid weekly, fortnightly, or monthly
  4. Take payment during the in-person sale with Tap to Pay, QR codes, service links, or Purchase as Customer
  5. Create groups for trainers, locations, class types, programs, or service categories
  6. Add Terms of Service for waivers, refund rules, cancellation rules, minimum terms, or training expectations
  7. Add Welcome Emails with booking links, first-session instructions, app links, waiver or intake forms, and next steps

In-Person Sale Flow

Customer asks or arrives

The customer asks about training, attends a consult, joins a class, walks in, or discusses a program with you.

Confirm the offer

Choose the session, pack, membership, challenge, or program the customer is buying.

Take payment

Use Tap to Pay, a QR code, a service link, a custom link, or Purchase as Customer.

Customer receives confirmation

Newie sends the New Purchase email, agreed terms record if Terms of Service is enabled, and any Welcome Email you configured.

Book or deliver the session

Scheduling can stay outside Newie unless you charge per appointment.
