Sales Dashboard

The Sales screen is the central hub for tracking revenue and performance. At the top, you see total sales for the selected time range, with a bar chart showing sales over time. On Mac, you can use the larger desktop view to track sales while working, with quick revenue visibility from the top of the app/menu bar where available. Time Ranges: Tap to switch between W (this week), 4W (4 weeks), 12W (12 weeks), 6M (6 months), and 12M (12 months). The chart and total update to match the selected range. Sales Running Total: The large figure at the top shows cumulative revenue for the selected period. Sales figures are shown before Newie fees, so they represent the total sale amount made, not the payout or net amount after fees. Share: Tap Share to post recent sales activity to social media. Hide/Show Numbers: Toggle number visibility for privacy when sharing or presenting.

Key Metrics

Below the chart, four metric cards provide a quick snapshot of performance:
  • Avg Weekly Sales - Average weekly sales, shown with a mini bar chart of recent weeks. This week’s sales are not included in the calculation
  • This Week vs Last - Current week’s revenue compared to the previous week, with a trend indicator showing whether sales are up or down
  • Avg Revenue - Customer Lifetime Value (CLV): total sales revenue from a customer over the relationship. Helps you understand customer value and acquisition spend. Tap for more detail
  • Avg Sub Lifetime - Average length of time customers stay subscribed. Helps gauge retention, loyalty, and predictable revenue. Tap for more detail
Calculation Options: You can choose which subscriptions and purchases are included in Avg Revenue and subscription lifetime calculations. When enabled, only expired subscriptions are included, which gives a clearer view of completed customer relationships. One-off purchases still count.

Sales Goal

Sales Goal lets you set an annual revenue target, and Newie shows it as a goal line on the graph. The target stays visible on the Sales graph and gives you a clear benchmark to work toward.
  • Set a Goal - Enter an annual target
  • Goal Line - The annual goal appears as a target line on the Sales graph
  • Progress Tracking - Current sales are shown against the goal line so you can see whether you are ahead, on track, or behind for the selected view
  • Update or Clear Goal - Update, change, or clear the goal at any time from the ... menu at the top of the Sales screen

Sales List

Below the chart and metric cards, the Sales screen shows a running history of sales. It separates payments that are still pending from completed sales, then groups completed sales by date.

Pending

Pending shows payments Newie is still waiting to confirm. This usually applies to delayed bank payments such as BECS Direct Debit. You can open the pending total to review the transactions included. For BECS Direct Debit, the payment is created when the customer submits the bank payment and may remain Pending/Processing while the bank confirms it, usually up to 3 business days later. Newie treats the pending bank payment as paid unless it later fails. Once payment succeeds, the sale moves into the dated sales history. If payment fails, Newie notifies you where relevant.

Dated Sales History

Completed sales are grouped by date. Each date shows the total sold that day, before Newie fees, followed by the sales that make up that total.

Sale Rows

Each sale shows the customer, service or plan, sale amount, and relevant status. The status can show refund information, clearing timing, or payout timing.

Clearing and Payout Status

The clearing or payout status is shown on each sale where available. It describes where the funds are in the clearing and payout flow:
  • Clearing - The payment has succeeded, but the funds are still clearing
  • Cleared - The funds have finished clearing and have moved into your Cleared Balance
  • Payout - The funds have been included in a payout or are tied to a payout
These labels describe fund movement for that sale. They are separate from the customer’s subscription or installment plan status. For more detail on clearing time, Cleared Balance, payout schedules, and Instant Payouts, see Payouts.

Opening a Sale

Tapping a sale opens the sale’s purchase or invoice detail view. For subscription and installment plan sales, the detail view links through to the related subscription or installment plan record. The detail view shows the payment status, customer, service, amount, payment method, and clearing or payout status where available. From this screen, you can also take actions where available:
  • Chat with Customer - Open a chat with the customer from the sale context
  • Email Customer Receipt - Send the customer a receipt for the sale
  • Download Customer Receipt - Download the receipt for records or manual sharing
  • Refund - Refund an eligible paid sale
  • Request Email - Shown only when the customer joined with Sign in with Apple, used Apple’s private relay hidden email address, and needs to share an email address so you can deliver the service; asks the customer to confirm an email address
The same purchase or invoice detail screen is also used from invoice details for subscriptions, one-off purchases, and installment plans, so available actions can depend on the payment status and sale type. Last updated: 2026-05-30
