Overview

Service links and QR codes give one service a direct checkout path. They work best when the customer already knows what they are buying and needs a simple way to open checkout. The most common way to sell on Newie is sharing a direct link to a specific service. Direct links are best when the customer is buying one known service. A Service Group or Store is better when customers need to browse several options. Before relying on a service link, complete payout setup and make sure the service is Available for Sale. Newie blocks sharing if your Stripe payout account is not ready. If the service is not available for sale, Newie warns you before sharing because customers will not be able to buy until you enable Available for Sale.

QR Codes

You can share a service link by QR code. For a service QR code, open Sell → Services, open the service menu, then choose QR Code. Customers scan the code with their phone camera and go directly to the purchase page. QR codes can be downloaded and work for in-person selling, such as flyers, business cards, posters, or counters, and for digital sharing on social media or websites. The same readiness checks apply to QR codes as service links: complete payout setup first, and confirm the service is available for sale before sending customers to checkout. Last updated: 2026-06-26
