Use All Customers when you know the person but not the exact subscription, purchase, plan, invoice, or conversation you need.

Choose the Right Customer Record

The same person can have a subscription, one-off purchase, instalment plan, and general customer profile. Open the record that matches the action.

Search for a Customer

  1. Open All Customers.
  2. Choose Search.
  3. Enter the customer’s name or email address.
  4. Select the customer.
The list includes customers from subscriptions, instalment plans, and one-off purchases.

Open a Customer Profile

Select a customer in All Customers. The customer profile shows the customer’s name, email where available, purchase summary, customer metrics where Newie has enough data, and the records connected to that customer.

Open a Customer’s Purchase

  1. Open the customer profile.
  2. Under Purchases, select the subscription, one-off purchase, or instalment plan.
  3. Open the exact record before taking an action.
This keeps customer-level details separate from purchase-level and invoice-level actions.

Open a Customer’s Invoice History

Open the customer profile, then select Invoice History. Choose an invoice to review its payment status and the actions currently available for that invoice. For retry, void, receipt, and refund actions, see Invoices & Payment History.

Show or Hide a Customer’s Expired Subscriptions

Open the customer profile and choose Show expired to include fully expired subscriptions. Choose Hide expired to collapse them again. You can also open Subscribers and use the Expired status list. A fully expired subscription remains available for history but cannot be reactivated. Send the customer a new payment link if they need to subscribe again.

Copy a Customer’s Email Address

Open the customer profile and choose Copy Email. If the customer used Sign in with Apple and hid their email, Newie shows Email hidden by Sign in with Apple instead of their direct address.

Request a Customer’s Email Address

When Newie shows Email hidden by Sign in with Apple, choose Request email from the customer profile. Newie emails the customer and asks them to confirm a direct email address. After the request is sent, the action changes to Request sent.

Chat with a Customer

  1. Open the customer profile.
  2. Open More.
  3. Choose Chat with [Customer].
For communication settings, automated emails, and Newie Chat, see Communication.

View Customers for One Service

  1. Go to Sell -> Services.
  2. Open the service’s ... menu.
  3. Choose View & Export Customers.
Use this action when you need the customer list for one service. The main Subscribers page filters by subscription status; it does not have a separate service filter.

Export Customers for One Service

  1. Open View & Export Customers from the service’s ... menu.
  2. Review the customers attached to that service.
  3. Choose the available export action and format.

Export All Customers

  1. Open All Customers.
  2. Choose Export.
  3. Choose CSV or PDF.
The export includes customer names, email addresses where available, and total paid. If a customer used Sign in with Apple, Newie masks the private relay email. Successfully refunded payments are excluded from Total Paid; a payment with a refund still pending can remain in the total until the refund succeeds. For subscriber, one-off purchase, instalment plan, sales, and payout exports, see Reports & Reporting.

Correct a Customer’s Details

You cannot edit a customer’s name yourself. If the email address has a typo or the customer cannot access their account because the email is wrong, contact Newie support so the address can be corrected. Last updated: 2026-07-15
