Overview
Sales & Analytics shows how sales are moving over time. It is useful for sales totals, goals, charts, and activity exports, while payout reports remain the better place for fee detail and bank reconciliation.Sales Totals
The Sales screen shows total sales for the selected time range, then a chart showing how sales moved across that period. Sales figures are shown before Newie fees. That makes the Sales screen useful for performance tracking, but not a substitute for payout or tax records.Time Ranges
Use the segmented time range control under the chart to switch between:- W: This week
- 4W: Last 4 weeks
- 12W: Last 12 weeks
- 6M: Last 6 months
- 12M: Last 12 months
Key Metrics
Below the chart, Newie shows four metric cards:- Avg weekly sales: Average weekly sales across the last four full weeks. This week’s sales are not included in the calculation.
- This week vs last: This week’s sales compared with the same point last week.
- Avg revenue: Average customer revenue, shown with a customer lifetime value detail view when enough data is available.
- Avg sub lifetime: Average subscriber lifetime, shown with a subscriber lifetime detail view when enough data is available.
Sales Goal
Sales Goal lets you set an annual sales target from the Sales screen.- Open the
...menu and choose Set Goal. If you already have a goal, the menu shows the current goal amount instead. - Enter the annual target. Newie also shows the approximate weekly target.
- The chart shows the goal as a target line for the selected range.
- Open the goal editor again to update the amount or choose Clear goal.
Pending Payments
Below the chart and metric cards, the Sales screen shows a Pending section when Newie is waiting for bank-debit payments to finish processing. Open the pending total to review the transactions included. For bank debit, the payment is created when the customer submits the bank payment and may take up to 3 business days to process. Once the payment completes, funds move to your Cleared Balance in Payouts and the sale appears in the dated sales history. If processing fails, Newie notifies you.Sales History
Completed sales are grouped by date. Each date shows the total sold that day before Newie fees, followed by the sales that make up that total. Each sale row shows the customer, service or plan, sale amount, and the status Newie has for that sale. Status details may include refund information, clearing timing, or payout timing. When a sale has clearing or payout detail, Newie may show:- Clears [date]: The payment has succeeded, but the funds are still clearing.
- Cleared [date]: The funds have finished clearing and have moved into your Cleared Balance.
- Payout [date]: The funds have been included in a payout or are tied to a payout.
Opening a Sale
Opening a sale takes you to the one-off purchase detail or invoice detail view. For subscription and instalment plan sales, the invoice detail view can link through to the related subscription or instalment plan record. The detail view shows the payment status, customer, service, amount, payment method, and any clearing or payout status Newie has for that sale. Available actions depend on the payment status and sale type. You may see:- Chat with Customer: Open a chat with the customer from the sale context.
- Email Customer Receipt: Send the customer a receipt for the sale.
- Download Customer Receipt: Download the receipt for records or manual sharing.
- Refund: Refund an eligible paid sale.
- Request Email: Ask a customer who used Sign in with Apple private relay to confirm a direct email address for service delivery.
Sharing and Exports
Use the share button on the Sales screen when you want to create a shareable sales chart image. The share screen lets you choose the chart range and toggle Goal, Newie Logo, Sales Figures, and Transparent Background. Leave Sales Figures off when you want to share the shape of the chart without showing the total amount. Use Export Sales from the... menu when you want a CSV or PDF export for the selected range.
