Overview

Account settings control the provider details and connected setup behind Newie: profile details, payout setup, payment methods, reports, integrations, support, legal information, sign-out, and account deletion. Use them for account-level changes rather than changes to a single service or customer.

Account

Your profile controls the details customers see when they buy from you or open your Store. Use Edit Profile to update those details. On iOS, the profile editor title is Edit Details. On macOS, open Edit Profile from the Account tab. Profile details include the fields Newie has for your account, such as:
  • profile image
  • name
  • email address
  • profession
  • biography
  • Instagram handle
  • Publish to Web, when your payout setup is complete
If you change your email address, Newie sends a verification email before the change is complete. For Store visibility details, see Newie Store.

Payments and Payouts

This area covers the money setup around your account: Stripe setup, bank details, payment-method settings, Overdue Assistant defaults, Tap to Pay setup, and saved payment methods for purchases you make from other Newie businesses. When Newie needs Stripe account, identity, business, or bank details, it opens Stripe Express. For payout bank updates, Newie shows Continue in Stripe. If a payment method needs more Stripe setup, Accepted Payment Methods shows Action Required and Update Now.

Reports

Download account-level exports from Reports. On iOS, Reports appears in the Reporting section when reports are available. On macOS, Reports appears as its own Settings tab. The report list follows the data in your account. It may include Sales, All Customers, Subscribers, Instalment Plans, One-Off Purchases, and Payouts. For the full report guide, see Reports & Reporting.

App and Integrations

On macOS, App includes menu bar settings. When your account has Zapier access, Integrations shows Connect Zapier or Zapier Connected. If payout setup is still pending or in progress, Zapier may not be available yet. Settings includes Support, Feedback, and Legal. Open Support when you need help with an account, payment, app, or customer issue. Use Feedback for product suggestions that do not need support follow-up.

Log Out or Delete Account

Choose Log out on iOS or Sign Out on macOS to leave the current Newie account on that device. Choose Delete account on iOS or Delete Account on macOS only when you want to permanently delete the account. For the dedicated account deletion instructions, see Delete Your Newie Account. If the account has active subscriptions, Newie requires you to cancel those subscriptions before deleting the account. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Last updated: 2026-06-26
