Pinning Services

You can pin important services to the top of the Services screen. This is useful for keeping popular services, frequently shared links, or common quick actions easy to find without scrolling through the full service list. Pinning only changes your Services screen order. It does not change checkout, service links, pricing, reporting, groups, or whether a service is available for sale.

Organising Services into Groups

Service groups let you organise related services by service type, team member, location, audience, or customer segment. For multi-staff businesses, groups are the main way to organise team structure in Newie while separate staff logins are not supported. You can create a group for each coach, trainer, stylist, practitioner, staff member, location, or service category, then add the relevant services. When a customer purchases from a group, the group name can appear in reports, payouts, exports, and tracking. This helps attribute sales and revenue to the right team member, location, category, or audience. You can share a direct link or QR code for any group, and groups can also be added to the Store. How Teams Can Use Groups:
  1. Create a group for each team member, location, or service category
  2. Add the relevant services to that group
  3. Share the group link or QR code with customers, or add the group to the web store
  4. Use reports, payouts, exports, and tracking to review sales by group
Notes:
  • Groups are an organisation and reporting tool, not separate staff logins or permissions
  • A single provider account can use groups to keep team services organised while separate staff logins are not supported
  • Clear group names make reports easier to read later, especially for teams, locations, and service categories
  • You can set custom images for groups, reorder services within groups, and reorder groups within the Store

Editing Services

To edit an existing service, open Newie → tap Sell → tap Services, tap the ... menu next to the service, then tap Edit. You can edit a service at any time. However, some changes only apply to new customers and do not affect existing subscribers or plans.
  • Price Changes: Changing a service’s base price does not affect existing subscribers - only new customers will see the updated price. To update multiple existing subscribers on an eligible ongoing subscription service, use the service’s ... menu from Sell → Services, tap Manage Customer Pricing, then use Change Price for Multiple. Fixed-term subscription customer prices cannot be updated in bulk; to update a fixed-term subscriber, open that subscriber profile and use Edit Pricing.
  • Moving Subscribers: To switch multiple subscribers from one service to another, use the current service’s ... menu from Sell → Services. To switch one subscriber, open the subscriber profile and use Switch Service.
  • Billing Start Date Changes: Updating the billing start date only applies to new customers - existing customers’ billing schedules are not altered.
  • Archiving: From the service’s ... menu, archiving a service does not cancel active subscriptions. Archived services can be restored at any time.
  • Duplicating: From the service’s ... menu, duplicate a service to quickly create a new one based on an existing setup.
