Sales Dashboard

  • Sales Overview - Central hub for viewing purchases, subscribers, refunds, and pending sales
  • Revenue Tracking - Track total revenue with toggles for which services to include
  • Sales Running Total - Cumulative total over time
  • Sales Filtering - View by W (this week), 4W (4 weeks), 12W (12 weeks), 6M (6 months), and 12M (12 months)

Sales Goal

  • Set a Sales Goal - Set an annual revenue target that Newie shows as a goal line on the Sales graph
  • Progress Tracking - Track current sales against the goal line so providers can see whether they are on pace for the selected chart view
  • Revenue Focus - Keeps the revenue target visible and helps providers review sales activity against their goal
  • Update or Clear Sales Goal - Update, change, or clear the goal at any time

Sales List

  • Sale Details - Tap any sale row to view the full sale details
  • Linked Subscription / Instalment Plan - Subscription and instalment plan sale details link through to the related record
  • One-Off Sale Details - One-off sales show their own details, but do not link to a subscription or instalment plan
  • Sales Payment Statuses - The Sales list shows paid, pending, or refunded sales
  • Sales List Clearing Labels - Clearing, Cleared, and Payout show where the sale’s funds are in the clearing and payout flow
  • Invoice History - Complete invoice history per subscription
  • Void Invoice - Cancel an unpaid invoice with optional reason
  • Retry Payment - Retry overdue invoices at any time

Customer Metrics

  • Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) - Total revenue earned from a customer over the entire relationship
  • Subscription Lifetime - Average length of time customers stay subscribed
  • Configurable Calculations - Choose which subscriptions and purchases to include in metrics

Subscriber & Purchase Views

  • New Subscribers - Track recently subscribed customers
  • Active Subscriptions - Count and list of current subscriptions
  • One-Offs - App view for one-time purchase records
  • Recently Paid - Most recent payments received
  • Pending Sales - Sales awaiting processing

Export & Sharing

  • Export Sales - Export sales data as CSV or PDF for reviewing sales activity and revenue performance from the Sales report in Settings, or from Sales when that export action is shown
  • Share Sales - Create a shareable sales chart image from the Sales screen
  • Customer Manage Link - Shareable self-service link for a purchase, including subscription controls, payment method updates, failed-payment retry flows, and overdue invoice flows when those actions apply

Customer Purchase Flow & Self-Service

Purchase Options

  • Subscribe - Sign up for a recurring subscription
  • Buy - One-time checkout for a One-Off Purchase
  • Pay in Instalments - Split into scheduled payments (Newie Instalment Plans)
  • Buy Now Pay Later - Customer financing via Afterpay, Affirm, or Klarna for eligible one-off purchases; provider is funded upfront for the purchase amount, less applicable fees, while bank payout follows normal timing
  • Pay in Full - Pay the entire amount upfront
  • Pay As You Go - Per-period payments during an intro pricing period
  • Pay Upfront - Lump sum for an intro period
  • Subscribe Again / Buy Again - Repurchase a previously purchased service
  • Purchase as Customer - Provider-assisted checkout from inside the Newie app

Checkout Experience

  • Customer Details Entry - Name and email collected at checkout
  • Payment Method Selection - Card / Apple Pay, BECS Direct Debit when supported for the account, and BNPL for eligible one-off purchases
  • Setup Fee Display - Clearly shown at checkout
  • Intro Pricing Display - Intro rate, duration, and main price shown before purchase
  • Terms Agreement Checkbox - Appears when Terms of Service are enabled
  • Processing Indicator - Visual feedback while payment is processing
  • Checkout Confirmation - Shows the customer that checkout succeeded. Newie then sends the New Purchase email with the Customer Manage Link; if Digital Download is enabled, the email also includes the download link
  • Digital Download Delivery - Download link included in the New Purchase email for digital file services

Subscription Info at Purchase

  • Ongoing Subscription Terms - Shows that billing continues until canceled
  • Fixed-Term Terms - Shows total payment count and duration
  • Billing Start Date - Displays when billing begins
  • Instalment Total Adjustment - Notifies if total was adjusted for even splitting

Customer Self-Service

  • Self-Cancel - Cancel immediately or schedule a cancellation without contacting provider (when enabled)
  • Self-Pause - Pause subscription without contacting provider (when enabled)
  • Payment Method Update - Update card or payment details at any time
  • Payment Retry - Retry failed payments via the Customer Manage Link

Purchase History

  • Purchases Section - View all past purchases in one place
  • Duplicate Purchase Warning - Directed to Purchases section if already subscribed, with option to subscribe again
  • Receipts - Email or download receipts as PDF

Tap to Pay

Understand Tap to Pay

  • Tap to Pay on iPhone - Accept in-person contactless payments using the Newie iOS app on a supported iPhone, no extra hardware needed
  • Supported Services - Available for one-off purchases, subscriptions, and instalment plans

Setup

  • Tap to Pay Enablement - Tap to Pay must be enabled before it can be used
  • Home Setup Prompt - After the provider profile is fully complete and Stripe is connected, Newie can prompt providers from the Home screen to enable Tap to Pay
  • Enable Later from Settings - If the Home prompt is dismissed, providers can enable Tap to Pay later from Settings
  • Enable from Share Service Flow - Providers can also enable Tap to Pay directly from the share service flow
  • iPhone Requirement - Requires the Newie iOS app on a supported iPhone with a supported iOS version
  • Location Registration - A business location must be registered to use Tap to Pay
  • Display Name - Configurable name shown on the iPhone during payment
  • Payout Setup Required - Payout setup must be completed first
  • Service Must Be Available for Sale - Service must be enabled before Tap to Pay can be used

Take a Tap to Pay Payment

  • Access Point - After Tap to Pay is enabled in the Newie iOS app, providers can start it from the action menu on eligible one-off purchases, subscriptions, and instalment plans
  • Payment Flow - Enter amount, customer taps card/phone/watch on iPhone, payment processed via Stripe
  • QR Code Alternative - QR code option also available at point of sale

Accessibility

  • Accessibility Options - Built-in support for customers needing visual or other assistance with PIN entry
  • Audible Instructions - Guides customers to draw or tap their PIN
  • Two-Finger Swipe - Submit PIN by swiping right with two fingers

Supported Payment Types

  • Supported Contactless Payments - Contactless cards and digital wallets supported by Tap to Pay on iPhone and Stripe

Communication - Chat & Automated Emails

Chat

  • Newie Chat - Built-in provider-customer messaging from Chats or a Chat with [Customer] action
  • Chat Tab - Dedicated section for provider-customer conversations
  • Chat Message Notifications - Providers and customers receive app notifications when they have the app and receive a new message
  • Customer Without App Email - If a provider sends a message to a customer who does not yet have the app, Newie sends the customer an email letting them know they have a message
  • Pin / Unpin - Pin important conversations for quick access

Automated Customer Emails

  • Failed Payment Email - Sent when a payment attempt fails and the invoice becomes overdue, with the Customer Manage Link so the customer can manage the purchase, pay, retry, or update payment method. If Auto-Retry is active and a later retry attempt fails, Newie sends a notification for that failed retry
  • New Purchase email - Sent after a successful purchase. Includes the Customer Manage Link for the purchase; if Digital Download is enabled, the email also includes the download link
  • Welcome Email - Custom email sent immediately after purchase when enabled
  • Overdue Reminder Email - Reminder sent when invoices become overdue, with the Customer Manage Link included

Provider Email Tools

  • Email Customer Receipt - Send or resend receipts to customers
  • Download Receipt - Download customer receipts as PDF
  • Export Statement - Generate and export billing statements
  • Send Test - Preview how emails appear to customers

Overdue Assistant Communications

  • Automated Follow-Ups - AI handles follow-up communications for overdue invoices and includes the Customer Manage Link where it is following up
  • Give AI Instructions - Add provider instructions to guide Overdue Assistant’s next action
  • Activity Timeline - Full log of all Overdue Assistant actions and communications
  • Next Follow-Up Scheduling - Shows when and what type of follow-up is next

Integrations & Automation

Zapier Integration

  • Zapier Connection - Connect Newie to third-party apps via Zapier
  • API Token - Token copied from Settings → Integrations → Connect Zapier or Zapier Connected for Zapier authentication
  • Zapier Triggers - Send customer, subscription, purchase, and payment events to connected apps. For instalment plans, choose the subscription or payment trigger that matches the plan stage you care about. Payout reports, batches, and fee breakdowns are not sent through Zapier

Stripe Integration

  • Payment Processing - All payments processed through Stripe
  • Payout Management - Payout bank account and Stripe account details are managed from Payout Account in settings, or from Payouts → More → Manage Payout Account, then continued in Stripe Express with Continue in Stripe. On iOS and macOS, Payout Account is under Settings → Payments & Payouts
  • Bank Account Setup - Payout bank account is added during Newie onboarding, where Newie links out to Stripe
  • Payout Schedule - Schedule, payout day, and payout time are managed from Payout Account in settings, or from Payouts → More → Manage Payout Schedule. On iOS and macOS, Payout Account is under Settings → Payments & Payouts

Apple Integration

  • Sign in with Apple - Authentication with optional email hiding
  • Apple Pay - Supported payment method for customers
  • Tap to Pay on iPhone - In-person contactless payments

Google Integration

  • Continue with Google - Authentication option for sign-up and sign-in

Social Media

  • Instagram Handle - Link an Instagram profile to the provider account
  • Share Sales - Create a shareable sales chart image from the Sales screen
  • Store Sharing - Share store link on Instagram, TikTok, Linktree, DMs, or anywhere online

Platform, Referrals, Support & Specifications

Platform

  • Provider Apps - Newie is available to providers on iPhone and Mac. Tap to Pay runs through the Newie iOS app on a supported iPhone
  • Enforced App Updates - Minimum version requirements ensure providers are on the latest version
  • Demo Mode - Preview the app with different region/currency settings

Supported Regions

  • Enabled Provider Countries - AU, US, GB, NZ, AE, AT, CA, CH, DE, ES, FR, HK, HR, IE, IT, LV, NL, NO, PT, RO, SG, SI, SK
  • Settlement / Account Currency - Determined by the provider’s sign-up country and Stripe account

  • Service Currency Templates - Support can create service templates in another supported selling currency on request; self-serve per-service currency changes are not currently available
